Own a piece of Star Trek history.  These four benches were originally purchased from the 40 Years of Star Trek Collection at Christie's of New York in October of 2006.  Included with the benches is the original invoice and freight bill from Christie's to establish authenticity.  Also included is a collection of auction memorabilia including the complete two volume catalog of items from the collection, various auction documents, two passes to the collection viewing, and the complete list of auction results showing the final bids for every item in the collection.  The benches were known as lot #124 and are described in the catalog as "Four heavy wooden loveseat-sized benches with rough-hewn finish, all--54 x 26 x 43 in.--used in the Klingon High Council set on Star Trek: Enterprise"
 

These benches were donated and proceeds from their sale will benefit Supplemental Assistance to the Handicapped, Inc. and K.A.M.P. Dovetail.  The appraised value of these benches is anywhere from $800 to $1200 as listed in the Christies' auction catalog.  These benches actually sold at the auction for $2,400.00.   We have set a reserve price for these benches and will sell them to the first bidder to exceed that reserve.  Please do not e-mail the webmaster and ask about the reserve price.  It will not be given out.  If your bid is the first bid to exceed the reserve price this auction item will automatically be added to your shopping cart and you will be redirected to our payment page where you can pay for your item.  In addition to the winning bid we will bill the winner $250 for freight to ship the benches.  The winner has the option of picking up the benches to avoid the additional freight charge.
